Unicyle SHOW!!

So, last.. uhm wednesday?.. There was a show I got paid to do!! I had to do a 30 minute show 4 times in a row, with 2 other people. I'd say it turned out cool! Here's some pics!! :):)

4th Of July!!!

:):) So first I was in a parade, with all my unicycle buddies ('cept a few who where sick or something..) In Cannonsburg, very large parade!! Lots of fun, though hot and tiring.. But still fun :) Then we went someplace to see fireworks! Wheeling, Ohio (Ohio isn't very far from us) Where there was nice orchestra music on the riverside, stuff like Starwars and the 1812 overture! I rode unicycle around there a bit, it's a great street-uni environment, lots of steps and curbs :) Then teh' fireworks!! They where so cool! They launched them from a bridge, and near the end they turned the whole bridge into a waterfall of sparks! :)! Then shortly after I got a headache that made me want to perform auto-lobotomy alla crowbar, but I've mostly gotten over that... Still feeling bleh and tired though. Anyway, It was so awesome! People kept staring at me.. Probably the green jacket and fedora, or the unicycle.. One person asked if I was Irish :P (and I am, but only 1/4th) Great fun.. The headache really spoiled it though, because I couldn't concentrate enough to walk it hurt so badly.. In all that was a cool day though. If you saw me there(ha, fat chance..) News, of silly and lonely life of Ben!

So yes, I believe my life somewhat silly, I live all alone out here with little more than an evil chicken for company(they go for the head, it's scary) Thusly, I shalt distract myself with my skills until help arrives! I still attend a unicycle club weekly, which is also sort of mixed to juggling, and has high ceilings to juggle in. I've been learning the Impossible Wheel, I device probably made up to make riding a wheelbarrow easier, only the person who did it was drunk so removed the legs... My records on this thing are maybe 50 feet across the floor, unasisted completely. I've also been working on the skill of juggling 4 pins, which is a BIG heap harder than 3. As for unicycling, well, I've been getting a consistant one-footed backwards AND I can do unicycling tricks while juggling, such as idles, one-footed ride, wheel-walking, backwards :-) My skill progression has slowed due to winter(duh), but I am progressing slowly! Gymnastics class (which happens in.. oh, 11 hours) has been going good, the teacher's hilarious :-P And I can now do a double-leg on sprung floor. Now, I mentioned help arriving, it will do so tomorrow in the form of a very cute (and smallish :-P)17 year old girl, her sister, and they're parents :-) (If you're desperately trying to tell me something, wait until sunday night, seriously I'll be "busy")

Hello, all.

Yesterday we picked up my sisters at the airport, at 11:20 or so at night, so they're back now. I'm currently sitting in a paneras bread, which has free wi-fi. Our internet has been REALLY down lately, it barelly works at all, the dish is mis-aligned somehow(??), so we have an average download speed of 11.6 kb/sec(it should be about 300), so that sucks. not much else going on, I've been really getting into my fingerboard business, I ordered some special upgrades and got them yesterday. I'm thinking about making a real website, instead of a blog, and I've been making it in the last few days. I had the worst unicycle crash(maybe anything crash) on last tuesday, I got really bad brush burns on both elbows, minor ones on both knees, and a really bad one on my right shoulder. It only happened because I was going faster then heck. I'm OK now though, it just stings a bit. Not much else going on, so bye bye.

Going home today, yay. The bad news is, we have to ride home with alot of sister's stuff, AND 2 unicycles, mine and hers. we managed to fit them in, so we'll be home by tonight.

First Blog

Hello, world.

This is my first blog ever, so might look weird :-P I'm Ben, or Unicycle Ben, or just UniBen, I'm 13, I have longish hair thats green at the tips, and I live kinda in the middle of a bunch of cow fields on a large peice of land with 6 cats, 2 chickens, 5 bantam chicks, and 2 pygmy goats. I have a few siblings, and I homeschool. that dosn't mean no school, it means school when you want were you want, and with a nicer teacher(my mom). My many hobbies include, but are not limited to, Unicycle riding, I own a 5 foot giraffe unicycle, a 29" big wheel, a 20" Mountain Unicycle, and a mini-BC wheel (just stand on the axle and it rolls). I Juggle, I can juggle clubs, balls, toilet plungers, anything the right shape and weight. I learned a frontspin with clubs yesterday. I make and play with Fingerboards, little skateboards for your fingers, and I make really nice wooden boards. I'm thinking about selling them custom made, but I don't have any customers yet :-P. Tell me if your interested, I can customize ALOT. I also make tiny anything, including airplanes(that fly), helicopters(that also fly), unicycles, skateboards(see above), almost anything, and I REALLY make 'em small, Costs less in materials :-P. I LOVE doing gymnastics/breakdancing/martial arts ALL AT ONCE, i can do a standing back tuck and I'm working on roundoff layout(strait legs and waist). Thats most of my big hobbies, I have many smaller ones like making games with Game Maker 7.1, but my computer pooted and i havn't worked on much lately. you can find my games by going to YOYOgames.com and searching "bpedtke". I guess thats all for now, PLEASE leave comments, I love to here what other people think about me, helps improve me. If i don't know whats wrong with me, how do I get better? hehe.
