Back from teh' NYCs..

NYC wasn't all that great :P Saw some cool stuff though.. Like a certain Statue of Liberty.. Afterwards we headed to Ithaca and met a close friend there-in :P 'Twas quite enjoyable, all in all, and I got some cool juggling/random junk footage, maybe a youtube video coming about that soon :)

4th Of July!!!

:):) So first I was in a parade, with all my unicycle buddies ('cept a few who where sick or something..) In Cannonsburg, very large parade!! Lots of fun, though hot and tiring.. But still fun :) Then we went someplace to see fireworks! Wheeling, Ohio (Ohio isn't very far from us) Where there was nice orchestra music on the riverside, stuff like Starwars and the 1812 overture! I rode unicycle around there a bit, it's a great street-uni environment, lots of steps and curbs :) Then teh' fireworks!! They where so cool! They launched them from a bridge, and near the end they turned the whole bridge into a waterfall of sparks! :)! Then shortly after I got a headache that made me want to perform auto-lobotomy alla crowbar, but I've mostly gotten over that... Still feeling bleh and tired though. Anyway, It was so awesome! People kept staring at me.. Probably the green jacket and fedora, or the unicycle.. One person asked if I was Irish :P (and I am, but only 1/4th) Great fun.. The headache really spoiled it though, because I couldn't concentrate enough to walk it hurt so badly.. In all that was a cool day though. If you saw me there(ha, fat chance..) Success in it's fullest

Meaning, to some(I think anyway) girls, booze, and money. I got all three, though I declined the first two. HOW, you may ask!? Simple, juggle at a somewhat crazy art fest where there is beer on tap for ...cheap. Let me just say I did not get involved in the booze or girls, the girls walked up, gave me money for juggling, and offered.. affection in return for booze(which makes no sense.. I'm no old enough to buy it either, come on do I look 21? maybe 16, but not 21(I'm 14) and besides I don't need a hug that badly.. yet...) To which I declined, but graciously accepted the money.. Because it was for my pure skill! My time an patience! It's starting to pay off now, I earned $30.73 over a few hours of improv. I am thusly pleased! Also, I'm learning new stuff all the time, today I used a Diabolo (dunno what it is? er.. google it or something), threw the diabolo SKY high, did a cartwheel on one hand,(sticks held in the other hand), landed to my feet and COUGHT the diabolo on the string!!! It took.. several tries, but I DID it!! This may seem minor compared to the above subjects, but I think it's probably harder anyway... Aneh' way, 'twas another fun evening in Pittsburgh PA, home of the one and ONLY Unicycle Ben!!! Those who read this have the pleasure of.. uh.. Well I hope you internet people enjoy this! And those who have seen me, THANKS for watching! (Those who haven't.. Maybe someday?..) Feel free to comment as you will, I will probably even reply(if it's that sort of a comment)

5 CLUBS!!!

Today, for the first time in my life, I qualified (10 throws+catches) 5 club juggling! and I even cought them all!! I am an amazing juggler now!! :P:P:P yay! 

Last weekend, I went to the 32nd R.I.T. Annual Juggling-in, in an RV with some friends, which was awesome, but I didn't do 5 clubs there! :P:P I rock :P:P yay! :) Also making miniature guitars.. maybe a picture of those soon. My life is pretty good right now! :) Even though i'm getting over a cold... which was annoying yesterday, but i think i'm good enough to go to gymnastics now(tonight..) I feel wonderful for the first time in awhile! and i'm sick, which is odd.. :P but still i feel great. I'm going to practice 7 balls now, tata!

News, of silly and lonely life of Ben!

So yes, I believe my life somewhat silly, I live all alone out here with little more than an evil chicken for company(they go for the head, it's scary) Thusly, I shalt distract myself with my skills until help arrives! I still attend a unicycle club weekly, which is also sort of mixed to juggling, and has high ceilings to juggle in. I've been learning the Impossible Wheel, I device probably made up to make riding a wheelbarrow easier, only the person who did it was drunk so removed the legs... My records on this thing are maybe 50 feet across the floor, unasisted completely. I've also been working on the skill of juggling 4 pins, which is a BIG heap harder than 3. As for unicycling, well, I've been getting a consistant one-footed backwards AND I can do unicycling tricks while juggling, such as idles, one-footed ride, wheel-walking, backwards :-) My skill progression has slowed due to winter(duh), but I am progressing slowly! Gymnastics class (which happens in.. oh, 11 hours) has been going good, the teacher's hilarious :-P And I can now do a double-leg on sprung floor. Now, I mentioned help arriving, it will do so tomorrow in the form of a very cute (and smallish :-P)17 year old girl, her sister, and they're parents :-) (If you're desperately trying to tell me something, wait until sunday night, seriously I'll be "busy")

YAY!! this is even better then doing 6! i threw 7 balls up into the air and caught them in the correct hands at the correct time! :-D yes!!!!!!
