Nose-balancing in NY
My current puzzle collection, consisting of 3x3 unknown brand, 2 3x3 dollar store cheap ones, one blind cube (named "Blin Io", has textures so can be solved blindly) homemade 2x1x1 :P:P "Square-1", and a broken Rubik's revenge 4x4. Soon to be joined by a East-Sheen brand 2x2 cube, 4x4 cube, and 5x5.
My little guitar amp, 10$ at amature radio festival. Not bad, comes with distortion :P
Oh SNAP! I'm on fire! just kidding, I meant to do it :P:P

Stuff happens..

It's been happenin' around here, that's for sure. I've been building instruments, mostly electric  strung ones, in my spare time. so far I have an electric guitar(with magnetic pickups wound by hand), a "Diddley bow" that I play by taping with spoons, A smaller diddley bow :P that looks more like a guitar, a one-string bass (made with weed-eater stuff, and a peizo pickup). A few days ago I went to a hamfest (which is a gathering of amateur radio enthusiasts, of which I am a member. You have to pass a (pretty easy) test to become a "ham" (ham aparently came from "amateur", somehow..)  and then you get a call sign, mine is KB3RWM :)) Mostly it's like a big flea market with lots of electronic stuff.. But several people had guitars/amps, several people had computer games (mostly old as the hills) some people where selling laptops for $10 (probably about what they're worth) pretty fun place to go.. I bought a smallish guitar amp, some guitar tuning pegs, a 4x4x4 rubik's cube (I can solve a 3x3x3 in under 4 minutes now :P) and a few electronic parts.. Like audio plugs. Anyway, that was quite fun to go to with my dad, he bought a heap of stuff too :P At one point a guy was like "My wife won't let me back in the house until this stuff is gone, it's all free!" hehe.. generally you get lots of free stuff at hamfests. So then I got home, learned some riffy things on my guitar with the new amp (that would be homemade guitar) and then modified a ukulele to be death-metal :P (added a contact microphone, added distortion :P) And today we drive into Pittsburgh to fetch an older sister from teh' airport, fresh outta' NYC...  Then we go into a fwiend's house and..  Parteh'! :P Probably more like picnic.. But 'hwateve'. I'll get pictures of my instruments up here soon, probabaly next post will be pure pictures, just been a little busy lately.

I must be off!
